What a beautiful morning! Clear sky. Sunshine. Quiet streets because everyone has left the city for the long May 1 weekend. A whole day in front of me to stitch. And, then… an unexpected gift!
The very creative Dee Wilcox, whom I recently met through Twitter, has awarded me a Kreativ Blogger award! I feel tremendously honored. And to keep the creative energy circulating, here are eight of my own favorite creative bloggers:
- Christine Kane, for inspiration, wit, and encouragement
- COLOURlovers, for feeding my eyes
- Creative Every Day, for Leah Piken Kolidas‘ gentle unstoppable energy and vast generosity
- Kelly Rae Roberts, for inventing my favorite word ever, Possibilitarian, and for having the best header I’ve ever seen
- Spirit Cloth by Jude Hill, for constancy and for yummy textures
- See. Be. Draw by Anna T.. for presence and for being a companion on the path
- The Smiling Spider by Frankie Colmane, for loving LA and insightfully critiquing its arts culture
- Accomplishing More by Doing Less by Marc Lesser, for reminding me to stop and pay attention
I hope you enjoy exploring these blogs as much as I do.
Have an inspiring Saturday!

Anna, Jude, Leah, and Marc,
My pleasure! I hope my readers enjoy following your blogs as much as I do.

Thanks for the lovely links they juice up my creative ideas and assist me into my own work.
I love seeing what other artists use to inspire and delight their own path of creation.

Thanks for posting the links. I subscribed to several of them and I look forward to receiving posts. I really like the look of you blog. and of course, your work! Keep blogging, and maybe someday I’ll twitter! Congratulations on the Kreativ Blogger Award – what a great idea!!!! I look forward to reading more!
Thanks, Peg and Vickie. It’s great to know that sites that inspire me can also inspire others. And so nice that we have the opportunity here to share such info.
Vickie, I’m glad you like the look of my blog… It may be undergoing some changes soon and I hope you’ll like the new version even better! I’m working on migrating to a self-hosted blog — on my website, https://threadsofawakening.com — and to giving these pages a green background that matches the rest of the site. Keep an eye out for the change in the next few days. I’ll be happy to have your feedback.
